London Longevity Presents: Reversing Ageing with AI (w/ Dr Daniel Ives)

Details
Cellular Reprogramming is one of the most exciting areas in longevity research, with the potential to reverse ageing itself. Central to this field are biological ageing clocks, which measure cellular age based on molecular markers. With the power of AI, scientists can now simulate centuries-worth of experiments in months, using clocks to predict whether the simulation got younger. In this way the most promising approaches can be prioritised for real world experiment, potential confirmation, and the development of safe rejuvenation therapies. However, many questions remain about the safety, efficacy, and long-term effects of cellular reprogramming, opening up significant opportunities for further research and commercial innovation.
Join London Longevity for a deep dive into this exciting area + extended networking. This event is not only for scientists or specialists but also for people passionate about longevity lifestyle and science. It’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, engage in great discussions, and discover exciting projects at the intersection of AI and longevity.

About the Speaker:
Daniel Ives received his PhD from the University of Cambridge where he focused on the role of mutations in the mitochondrial genome in rare diseases, embracing computational biology to discover a novel therapeutic approach. In 2017 he founded Shift Bioscience and since then, has been on a scientific journey from mitochondria to mouse ageing clocks to single-cell ageing clocks and, finally, to now: leveraging single-cell ageing clocks inside cell simulations to discover safer factors for cell rejuvenation.
