KIDS THAMES WALK - PUTNEY BRIDGE TO BATTERSEA PARK - 6TH MARCH

Details
Let's walk with babies, toddlers and children from Putney Bridge to Battersea Park. We will tell stories about the river, sing songs and read poems, giving an opportunity for parents to shine! The art paper will be brought out with crayons, perhaps when the children are gathering at the start in the Palace cafe. Meet there at 10am.
This is a continuation of the walk in February, when we walked from Hammersmith Bridge to Putney Bridge (2 miles). Please bring a packed lunch, water, woolly hat and waterproofs. We will meet/gather in Fulham Palace Walled Garden, a little sun trap. There is a relaxed cafe and toilets in Fulham Palace if you want to grab a coffee to get you started for the day. Also the Palace is free to look around if you arrive early. Please book online.
Progress will naturally be slow at toddler pace. The route will be along the north bank of the Thames via Hurlingham Park where we will target a playground. We will aim to reach Wandsworth Bridge (1.4 miles) and see how we are getting on. Maybe venturing further to Chelsea Village if their little legs are still raring to go. You never know, one day we might just reach Battersea Park.
Prams and buggies, baby rucksacks and scooters are most welcome, expected even. See you there for some fun.
