Are we imprisoned by society?

A progressive society is one where ideas, concepts and challenges are discussed regularly and openly. Here is our small contribution to uplifting the intellect in the global village.

Agenda

-Are we imprisoned by our peers, social circle, colleagues?
-Do people subconsciously change their behaviour to be accepted by the people in their local vicinity?
Examples: Dressing down because you live in a certain postcode vs dressing boldly because you live in Chelsea and nobody would stare or judge.
Other examples: Men in England almost have the same 5-6 hairstyles vs Italy or Spain where there is much more variety, wearing designer brands to be accepted by a peer group, speaking in an accent, music choice, eating in certain places.
