British Government, whom the world looks up to for Policy making and how to run a successful economy made catastrophic errors some 50 years ago in the 70s & 80s by Privatising essentials parts of the economy such as Railways, Energy, and even natural monopolies -Water. These industries did not invest back and the outcome is Excessive prices for consumers whilst the service quality is appalling.

Countries like China have built a remarkable Infrastructure in the last 20 years and now they are progressing towards building Robots. On the other hand Britain is struggling to fix pot holes, sewage polluting rivers, businesses unable to afford electricity and shortage of fresh water.

In short the turtle is winning the race whilst the hare seems to be going in reverse gear.
