LONDON MIXED GIRL MEETUP

Would you like to make friends with other mixed girls?

If you have missed our get togethers, want to re-connect with sisters, some good food or are simply tired of feeling like the odd one out, like you do not have community of your own and/or feel heard but constantly misunderstood, this event is for you!!!

You find yourself on the intersection of two heritages and not being accepted by either? This is for you. If you want to unpack some of your trauma and/or experiences in a safe space away from social media, this is for you.

In the 4 years we have run these events, I can confidently say, everyone you meet at this event WILL have something in common with you and you'll feel a weight lifted off of your shoulders as you are finally able to share without the fear of being judged but instead met with understanding and often an instant connection as you have been through similar things.
If you are a parent of mixed children or have a partner who is mixed we would highly recommend attending too!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Vitiligo ambassador& Self Love Advocate @gifted_skin will join in our safe space & share some of her story growing up mixed in London!!

What else can you expect at a Mixed Girl Meetup?

- A safe space to share your experiences without feeling judged or ridiculed
- Making new friends who are also mixed
- Finding people who have been through similar things as you
- An immediate sense of relief once you realise that you can be your true self without feeling fearful
- A new sense of confidence in yourself and your authentic self
- A new community to call your own
- Emotions : have your tissues ready! Often as we share freely, sisters can burst out in tears or sadness or joy - we hold space here and comfort those that share.
