Hi modwigglers, here's something that might interest a few of you:
On Saturday, May 17th, Nepenthes London will host ALM/Busy Circuits for a one day pop-up event at the store.
Busy Circuits is a UK-based music technology company producing innovative, useful devices and tools for working with electronic sound. Best known for the EURORACK modular synthesizer, they build products to foster creativity through engaging, playful experiences, combining past influences with modern possibilities.
The pop-up will run from 3—9pm, and will feature a live set from musician Nik Colk Void.
Void is an electronic musician and artist with a vast reputation in experimental shapeshifting and collaboration. Her interests lie in the unconventional encounters with her tools, both analogue and digital, as a means of expression. Her key instruments are voice, guitar, and modular EURORACK systems, engaging in a new language using extended technique and cut-up sampling through synthesis.
ALM/Busy Circuits products will be on sale during the pop-up event, and refreshments will be provided through the evening. Limited edition merchandise will also be available for purchase.
Nepenthes London is situated a short walk from both London's Kings Cross and Euston stations at 8 Woburn Walk, London WC1H 0JL.
