Monthly Swinley Forest Trails Ride

Trails Loop following the Red and Blue Routes. (Approx 23km) -----------------------------------------------

About Swinley Forest Trail Centre: Swinley Forest has around 24km of purpose built, all weather way-marked mountain bike trails. These man-made trails also run brilliantly in all weathers. The trails follow the contour of the forest and we will ride the Blue and Red Trails. Blue Trail: Suitable for intermediate cyclists & mountain bikers with basic off-road riding skills. Red Trail: For proficient mountain bikers with good off road riding skills. The cycle trails are graded in line with the International Mountain Bike Association industry standards: tight twisty single track, steep descents into the forest, and some tough climbs. All begin from The Look Out Discovery Centre and provide a range of challenges, some requiring technical skills. Type of riding : Off road trails and about a 24km network of trails. This ride generally takes approx 3 hours when riding in a group.

SWINLEY RED HAS A NEW "BOARDWALK" (NARROW RAISED PLANK) SECTION THAT REQUIRES PRACTICE/SKILL/CAUTION. AS ALWAYS ENJOY & HAVE FUN!
