About us
MongoDB User Groups (MUGs) are community-driven meetups where developers, architects, database professionals, and tech enthusiasts come together to share knowledge, discuss best practices, and connect with like-minded individuals đ
Whether youâre a beginner just getting started with your first cluster or an experienced power user scaling to petabytes, this group is for you.
Our meetups are a safe space to:
- Learn: Hear from industry experts and local developers about how they are using MongoDB.
- Share: Discuss interesting use cases, architectural patterns, and lessons learned.
- Connect: Network with local tech talent, find mentors, or just hang out with fellow devs.
What to expect:
- Tech talks and demos âď¸
- Interactive workshops đĄ
- Networking, food, and swag đ

The Agentic Evolution Hackathon
Near Liverpool St st and Moorgate, London Wall, EC2M 5UU, London, GBBuild in a day. Shape the future of AI Agents. Showcase on a global stage. This hackathon isnât simply a one-day sprint; itâs an accelerator for your idea. Finalists will demo their projects LIVE at MongoDB.local London on May 7th.
AI agents are breaking free from passive chat interfaces and starting to learn, adapt, and grow alongside us as autonomous partners, driven by breakthroughs like OpenClawâs viral action-taking runtime and Hermesâ self-improving, persistent skills.
Now, we need to architect the next stage: creating the integrations, memory systems, and self-evolution mechanisms that allow agents to build intelligence that embeds seamlessly into our everyday lives.
Build with MongoDB and Londonâs best hackers to define how agents evolve from chat-bound tools into indispensable, ever-improving intelligence.
Prizes include ÂŁ15,000 in cash and partner credits, awarded across the top three teams.
Notes:
- This event is fully in-person in London. Space is limited. Maximum team size is four. All attendees must submit an application and be approved to attend.
- In order to be eligible to win, finalists must be available on May 7th to attend MongoDB.local London and present their project.
