Hainault Forest Walk

Hi,

Welcome to the group! In this group we will have some spontaneous outdoor plans/ day trips over weekends, usually in and around London. If you like peaceful walks in nature and would like to have some friendly company, then you are welcome here.

For our 2nd event, we will be exploring
Hainault Forest. It’s 2 miles away from nearest tube station Grange hill. We can either take a bus from there or walk ( approx 41 mins).

Meet up location - outside Grange hill station

Meet up Time- 10.30 AM - 11 AM

I will wait outside the station for 30 mins for people to join, chit chat a bit. We leave at 11 AM.

Estimated Finish Time- 4.30 PM

We will be walking at moderate pace and taking breaks as we need. People are free to take detours, stay longer or leave sooner if they want to.

• an umbrella or waterproof jacket
•minimum 1.5L of water
•Packed lunch / snacks.
•wear comfortable shoes
•any medicines you may need

**There are toilets with disabled facilities in the Redbridge section of Hainault Forest Country Park.
