London Network Automation meetup #13

Details
Hi Everyone, I am excited to announce another virtual Meetup which will take place on Thursday 24th June at 6PM BST. Meeting URL will be available once your RSVP.
We will keep a similar format to our traditional Meetups but you will need to get your drinks and snacks ready at home or wherever you will be joining from.
Lined up for this meetup we have:
Eric Chou - a seasoned technologist with over 20 years of experience. He has worked on some of the largest networks in the industry while working at Amazon, Azure, and other Fortune 500 companies. Eric is passionate about network automation, Python and is the author of a number of books in this area.
Presentation: Python 3 and some of its new features that I find interesting and helpful. In particular, we will discuss:
- Learn to use f-strings.
- How to annotate your code with type hinting for better error checking and readability.
- See how Asyncio works in Python 3.8.
(Bonus) New standard libraries in Python 3.
-----------------------
Anton Karneliuk - a telecommunication industry enthusiast who started as a traditional network engineer in the Belarussian OpCo velcom | A1 Anton mastered pure networking skills (2x CCIE #49412 RS/SP) and then expanded the area of interest to the disaggregated data center networks and network automation/programmability.
Presentation: HAWK - a data centre modelling and simulation tool. Understanding of what is happening in your network is important. It is even more important to figure out what may happen in case of planned or unplanned outage.
-----------------------
As always, if you'd like to present, or be part of the panel at a future date then please message us via Meetup.
