Open Mic in Hammersmith!

This group has been dormant for some years now. The previous admins have moved on. But it's now being reactivated - hopefully some of the existing members will still be around and new members are very welcome to join.

This is all about attending and organising fantastic open mic nights in the London area, focusing on good quality venues and sound systems, with good transport links, and creating a real buzz - whether for accomplished musicians who just want to play a few songs without any pressure, or people who want to perform for the first time. Everyone is welcome!

For the first event, we are organising an open mic at a top quality destination in Hammersmith called The Distillers, with its own dedicated music venue upstairs, which has a bar and plenty of tables and chairs. It's a very good quality place and if it works out could be the scene of regular open mics going forward.

So come down on Wednesday 1st May at 7pm when doors open (upstairs) and the live music will start at 8pm. The venue has its own bar and you can order food from the excellent pub downstairs. It's a great place to socialise, relax and above all watch and play music.
