The Swan, 7 Cosmo Place, WC1N 3AP - https://www.greeneking.co.uk/pubs/greater-london/swan - is just a few minutes walk from Russell Square underground station (Piccadilly Line). Turn left out of the station and then left again when you reach Russell Square itself. You'll find Cosmo Place around 350 yards ahead of you, on the left directly opposite the Bedford Hotel. If the Central Line suits you better, Holborn station is almost as close. From there it's a straight walk up Southampton Row.
