London Python Project Nights

Details
We are running our London Python Night session on Wednesday, 26th July 2023
We will be doing some fun stuff.
We will be talking about the climate change projects that we are doing – the aim of these
projects are to take you on a journey.
We will showcase what we do but with a twist.
We want to discuss our everyday challenges and look at ways Python can help us solve
them.
The aim is to create and spark some ideas for you to think about how you can help solve the climate change agenda within your community.
We will be focusing on two boroughs in the UK
Lewisham and Newham
First Speaker: Symone will discuss key climate challenges for each and how we intend to solve them using different libraries from Python.
Second Speaker: Peter will demonstrate setting up and activating a virtual environment. When creating these Python Projects, we must understand how to set up and activate a virtual environment.
Peter will do a demo on this too.
Third speaker: Camile will then talk about how once we have completed our Python project, we can publicly or privately showcase it via GitHub. She will also do a demo. I think this is important because when you
are going for any interviews, you can share what you have done and talk about it too.
Finally, we will do a career session on Machine Learning Engineer
Here I will present the educational routes to becoming a Machine Learning Engineer, highlight career paths and potential job roles, and mention industries that employ Machine Learning Engineers.
I will share salary and career growth, give you some insight into my journey and the factors influencing salary, and highlight growth opportunities.
I am looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday, 26th July 2023.
You can ask the speaker(s) any questions about the topic.
Let us know if you want to present at a future meeting; click here and complete the form.
Don't hesitate to contact an organiser if you're interested in proposing a project or topic.
