GraphQL at The Financial Times
Viktor Charypar, Red Badger

Recently released by Facebook, GraphQL isn't only useful for client-server communication. Viktor will show how Red Badger used the reference implementation - graphql-js - at the Financial Times as a generic data presentation layer over a set of backend APIs and how to deal with related requirements like caching or authorisation.

Once again you will be asked a couple of question when you RSVP yes for the meetup. If you provide this extra information you won't have to sign an NDA on the door- instead simply sign in with one of the ipads as instructed by the reception team. This will speed up everyone getting into the building on the evening.

(RSVPs will close 4 days before the meetup so this info can be given to Facebook so make sure you book your place with plenty of time)

Thank you to Facebook for hosting the event!

See you all then

Stu, Alex, Robbie and Amy
