Adopting Rust (Hosted by Lloyds bank)

Adopting Rust comes with Multiple different challenges. There’s the learning curve, finding Rust talent, and always the question of if the right tooling is there to solve your problem. In this meetup we have two talks. One talk is by Joe Frost about his Rust project. Joe is a lead software engineer at Lloyds. The other talk is by Maxwell Flitton on how to adopt Rust in the web programming space. Maxwell Flitton wrote the 1st and 2nd edition of the Packt Rust web programming books and has co-developed a cluster of Rust servers into production over multiple years.
