This meet up will have a slightly more technical focus, but will be valuable to all who attend.

Info-Tech Research Group have been power users of Salesforce for close to 10 years, and they are sharing some of their valuable Salesforce knowledge with us at their beautiful new location. Join us for this exciting evening.

Topic #1: Email Integration

Capturing email as activity in Salesforce is key to providing a holistic view of your customer journey. Email integration options for Salesforce provide approaches which make this simple but require licensing every user you want to capture email for. This topic will provide an overview of how Info-Tech automatically captures inbound and outbound email for all employees, with or without Salesforce licenses.

Topic #2: Using Platform Events to Track Web Activity

Platform Events in Salesforce provide a great way to integrate with external systems in an event-driven manner. This session will demonstrate how Info-Tech uses Platform Events to track client usage of our website and report it back to their entitlements.

Topic #3: Rollups, Rollups, Rollups

Rollups are an important tool for any Salesforce professional when trying to provide meaningful reporting. This topic will cover various approaches for creating rollups when the standard declarative approaches do not work. Third-party tools like Rollup Helper, Declarative Rollup Summaries, and custom APEX solutions will all be covered.
