### Who This Course Is For

Beginners

  • Build a solid foundation in major and minor harmony
  • Understand how chords function within real jazz standards
  • Gain clarity on scales, chord tones, and basic progressions

Intermediate Players

  • Strengthen your command of II–V–I progressions in all keys
  • Learn to use extensions and substitutions
  • Analyse and navigate jazz standards more independently

Suitable for saxophonists and other instrumentalists who want to better understand harmony and improve their improvisation.

### About the Teacher

The course is led by Aleksandra Topczewska — a London-based jazz saxophonist, arranger, and educator.
She has performed at the Barbican, Royal Festival Hall, Ronnie Scott’s, and festivals across Europe alongside artists including Gary Crosby, Chaka Khan, and Binker Golding.
