Scratch Day is a global network of events where people gather to celebrate ScratchJr and Scratch. This event will bring together educators to share projects, and learn from each other.

Join us for a hands-on programming session in Scratch where you will program a monster to dance, two animals to tell each other a joke and a simple racing car game. You will also be able to find out more about Barefoot Computing, Scratch Jr and OctoStudio too!

Sarah Zaman is a primary school teacher who has always been enthusiastic about computing and new developments in the ICT and computing curriculum. Sarah has worked as CAS community outreach manager in the North East of England, and as a CAS school engagement coordinator and currently leads the CAS Primary community. Sarah is also a senior professional development lead for STEM Learning UK, a primary computing subject matter expert for the National Centre for Computing Education and is responsible for schools engagement with the National Cyber Security Centre in North East England pilot hub.
