Crystal Palace Park & Coffee (3 miles) - £4

Crystal Palace Park & Coffee (3 miles) - £4

Details

Crystal Palace Park - home of the famous Crystal Palace until it burned down in 1936. This event will be a steady jaunt around the park, taking in the various highlights and finished with a hot chocolate at the end.

We will meet outside the station and from there walk up to the site of the Crystal Palace. Taking in a view of the main radio mast, we proceed in a circle around the perimeter of the park. We will pass the Brown and Green Life cafe but will not stop there until the end. Onto the lake and the highlight of the day will surely be the dinosaurs.

We will take in a quick view of the sports centre, which once was an Olympic venue and finish back at the station for those who wish to drop off.

For those who wish to stay on, we will then head back to the cafe, (which will be on the other side of the park) for a lovely hot chocolate and bite to eat.

Do note that the very exciting Lightopia is now on but this is obviously an evening thing and does not form part of this event.
