We'll meet beforehand in the bar of the cinema at 5.10pm so that we can all say 'hello' and those wanting a drink/snacks can buy them, watch the film at 5.20pm and then meet again afterwards. For those that would like, we can go for a drink and a chat and to reflect upon the film after. Look forward to meeting some of you soon. Hirayama is content with his life as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. Outside of his structured routine, he cherishes music on cassette tapes, books, and taking photos of trees. Through unexpected encounters, he reflects on finding beauty in the world.

And he loves trees and takes photos of them. A series of unexpected encounters gradually reveal more of his past.
