If we want the most out of life - to have energy, be productive, have rewarding relationships and make good decisions, we need good sleep. Even a few hours of lost sleep affects our decision making, our ability to drive safely, our performance and recovery. And a prolonged lack of deep sleep damages our immune system, doubles our risk of illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s, and jeopardises our mental health. In this workshop, we will touch on the neurology and biochemistry of good sleep, the effects of anxiety, depression and just thinking, and what we can do to bring our brain, breathing, and heart to the right state for sleep. We'll cover nutrition, and the foods and eating patterns that support good sleep. And we'll consider sleep tech, useful and un-useful including the breakthrough Zeez Sleep Pebble, an invention on which Anna has worked. We will learn how to use the EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to clear the energy blocks which obstruct sleep patterns and practise taking your body and brain from an active over-thinking, stressed state, to a relaxed, calm, restful sleep state. We will share sleep stories and have time for insights and guidance on individual sleep issues. We'll end the evening by concocting (non alcoholic) sleep inducing drinks. (https://t.co/QMBc4RSnxP)
