Friday @ Four - Online Presentation/Talk - Great British: Heroes & Villains!

Love or Hate some of the characters for this new presentation, the images are extremely funny!

Heroes and Villains is a unique collaboration between the caricaturist Gerald Scarfe and the National Portrait Gallery. Images of well-known figures, selected from the National Portrait Gallery's collections, are juxtaposed with caricatures of the sitters by Scarfe.
The talk with the aid of a slideshow, will include short essays by celebrities, writers and experts championing the sitter as hero or villain.
Joanna Lumley, Ian Rankin, Simon Schama, Stephen Bayley, Mo Mowlam and Melvyn Bragg are just a few of the public figures who argue their views for and against subjects as wide ranging as Henry VIII, Oswald Mosley, Virginia Woolf, the Beatles, Margaret Thatcher and many more...

I have created five parts with five subjects for each 'eclectic' event.

To attend in the first instance RSVP. You do not need a Zoom account. But to stop Zoom bombers (persons hijacking the event - doing weird things). All you have to do is click on the location link and enter the meeting password: 589990 - Please log in around 5 minutes before it starts.

We have a form of etiquette, for example when you first enter the 'meeting room' you will be muted, I will unmute you as we start. However, when you are not speaking it is recommended that you mute yourself - this is so that others do not get a lot of background noise.
