When problems arise, our instinct is to react, resolve, and find lasting solutions—almost automatically. We’ve done this since childhood, sometimes reminding ourselves to “think twice,” as if maturity comes from experience alone. But the real challenge isn’t problem-solving; it’s to prevent ourselves to be sucked in and allow ourselves to step away consciously.
How often have we told ourselves to let go, disconnect, or walk away—yet remained entangled in our worries? We understand the importance of detachment, even know the methods, yet instinct keeps pulling us back. Are we fighting our nature, or is there an untrained part of us we’ve neglected? Perhaps we were never truly taught how to distance ourselves from our concerns and reclaim peace.
