This month, we're excited to announce that our first speaker will be Warren Trakman, from Google.

Google Cloud is fast becoming a viable alternative to AWS and Azure, and one every DBA should be familiar with.

Warren is a Google Cloud Platform Channel Solution Engineer, who will give an overview of the various storage product options that are available: Cloud Storage, CloudSQL, BigTable, Datastore, SQL Server etc.

Yes, SQL Server on Google. That's a new thing!

For our second speaker, we welcome back to the stage Mr Carlos Rolo. Carlos is a Cassandra MVP and general genius on all things NoSQL.

His talk is entitled: How migrating a NoSQL database to the cloud solved a major headache for an energy company
