LUUG 13 - The one where Thomas grows up....and we talk about Flash?!

Details
Hello fellow LUUG-ites!
I'm hoping you've all been enjoying the summer so far. I still don't understand why we've not started calling it monsoon season yet, it would be more fitting.
Never mind the weather though, because there's nothing that can stop a LUUG taking place (apart from a riot).
Hometown GP
Prior to joining Unity, Ben, more affectionately known as Duck, worked on the incredibly impressive Vodafone Hometown GP, a browser-based Formula 1 racing game by Skive. Players can draw a route, using Google Maps, which is then used to create a fully 3d race track. It used a combination of Flash and Unity3D, the integration of which Duck will be talking about during his talk.
Thomas Was Alone
Return of the Bithell! 8 months on from when Mike stepped on-stage to show the early stages of converting Thomas Was Alone from Flash prototype to a crowd-funded, celebrity endorsed, super cool Unity game, we get to see it again!
Only a few days before the planned release at the end of the month, we're incredibly excited to see what surprises Mike has packed into Thomas Was Alone.
Open Mic
As ever, the stage is yours! If you have something you'd like to show then all you need to do is bring whatever it is you need to show it off! Laptops, iPads, Android devices...anything.
We also like to accomodate any topics that people would just like to talk about...Got an idea you'd like to discuss, or an opportunity for other developers to get involved with? Then just let us know.
For those with iOS games that they would like to show off, you can always just get in touch via email and send over a test flight invite and we'll handle setting up the demonstration of the game...
See you on the 21st!
