About us
We are probably the longest established vegan social group in London.
We have online monthly meetings online on the last Wednesday of each month (apart from December!) - all welcome, whether or not you're in London.
We also arrange in-person social events including restaurant trips and walks.
This group will also promote other London based vegan-friendly events.
All welcome, whether vegan or not, but we ask that at in-person events you only consume vegan food.
We currently run monthly online events at which we have guest speakers and/or a discussion.
The Zoom link for the event can be found when you sign in to the event.
We encourage members to sign up to our separate email list
http://eepurl.com/b3ZF5H to receive updates on events.
Furthermore we will no longer be promoting events on this Meetup Group once the Meetup.com subscription ends in March 2026,

ONLINE: Guest Speaker Sarah Bentley - founder of Made In Hackney
·OnlineOnlineWe are very pleased to have as our guest speaker Sarah Bentley. She is an author, podcast host, campaigner, keynote speaker, and the founder of vegan community cookery school and charity Made In Hackney.
Sarah no longer works at the helm of Made In Hackney but is a proud ambassador for the charity and is the author of their debut book - We Cook Plants – which features over 100 global recipes alongside important discussions around food justice, sustainability and veganism.
She now spends her days home-schooling her son, teaching Special Educational Needs students food growing, and working part-time as a Campaign Manager at Plant-Based Health Professionals UK managing the Plants First Initiative which supports healthcare settings to adopt a plant-rich food culture.
Please do check out the book We Cook Plants
Please connect at 6.55pm for a prompt start at 7pm.
The formal part of the meeting will conclude at about 8pm, when some of us will stay online for an informal chat.
Best regards.
