London Vibium is the community for QA and Test Automation Engineers who want to stay ahead in the future of testing with AI.
What is Vibium?
Vibium is the latest project from Jason Huggins, the creator of Selenium, Appium, and Sauce Labs. Just as Selenium became the foundation of web automation over the last 20 years, Vibium is positioned to lead the next era. It’s being called “Selenium for AI” because it brings intelligence, adaptability, and natural language to testing.
Project is early stage and we will update the state as it evolved but idea is simple, it's future of test automation in the AI.
Why does it matter?
Traditional test automation is powerful but brittle. Anyone who has worked with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or Cypress has experienced flaky scripts, fragile locators, and high maintenance costs. Vibium changes that by:
- Describing test intent in natural language and let AI translate it into automation
- Adding adaptive navigation: tests can flex and recover intelligently when UIs change, instead of failing
- Running tests across real devices and networks for authentic, reliable results
Just example from recent video: Imagine simply saying: “Make sure customers can buy products on mobile devices in major cities” and Vibium’s AI runs those tests across real conditions via Vibium Network
