Details

Wait it's June already? Oh shoot, I should organise a Meetup!

Sorry things have been quiet for the start of the year, it's been a busy one! Did you see me in my fancy suit and glasses? No? Maybe I'll wear them to the Meetup if you ask nicely!

But we're back in person, yes you heard it, IRL. ITV have generously offered to host us at ITV HQ at 200 Grays Inn Road.

Doors will be open for drinks and pizza from 18:30, talks will start at 19:00.

As always there will be 🍻, 🍕, and 📼!

Speakers:

**Nathan Zerafa – VP of Product Development, PUSH.live**

PUSH Live x Red Bull Racing

Kicking off the 2022 Formula 1 season, Red Bull Racing challenged PUSH Live, a forward-thinking digital creative agency, to reimagine how they create and share content with the fans, rather than to the fans. This meant putting fans at the heart of the execution to deliver a social moment more authentic and engaging than anything before it.

This brief began with the eagerly awaited #RB18 car launch, using PUSH Live’s unmatched live streaming service. With the power to transform a single live moment into an unlimited number of customised streams, over 6,400 channels simultaneously streamed 65 different event versions live, across their social channels, all securely connecting the content directly to their channels via PUSH Live’s sophisticated and unique cloud-based technology.

Nathan Zerafa, VP of Product Development at PUSH, gives a breakdown of this unique event that broke the mould of F1 car launches and helped Red Bull reach a vast live global audience – with zero media spend.

Jim Hall - Principal Sales Engineer, Fastly

Content security requirements in the streaming industry are moving towards standardisation.

This talk will cover why these standards are being developed, what some of those standards are, and what content creators are likely to face in the coming months if they want to distribute "premium" (and even not-so-"premium" content). Topics to be covered: Token Authentication, Forensic Watermarking, and CBOR/CWT
