# Quirky London - a Mother's Day walk with a qualified London tour guide

A wonderful walk for Mother's Day - going off the beating track to see some of the less obvious aspects of London with qualified guide Philip Scott.

This is a bit of a different walk through central London. We will be walking through the heart of London but instead of focussing on the must-see sights we will be looking at some of the less obvious and more offbeat aspects of central London.

We will view a watergate that is not near water, London’s only camel statue, an ultimate token of love near an incredibly unattractive back street, a small but often misnamed police station in a square not named as intended along with a bizarre grave and a long defunct embassy that owed a debt for well over 100 years!

The walk will last around 1 hour 45 minutes.

Sunday 19th March (Mothering Sunday), 14.30. Meet Phil outside Embankment tube station (Villiers Street side).

Cost £15.
