A Sunday Afternoon in Greenwich – Art, Coffee and a walk
Details
Greenwich is one of London's most attractive areas, with some wonderful architecture, interesting places to explore and plenty of good pubs.
We'll meet at artfix café at 1 pm for coffee and a chance to get acquainted before heading out.
Our afternoon will take us through the historic Old Royal Naval College and the Queen's House, with its impressive interiors and art collection. We'll also explore some of Greenwich's quieter corners and, weather permitting, take a walk through Greenwich Park for the views across London.
We'll finish at a traditional Greenwich pub around 3:30 pm, where we can relax over a drink and continue the conversation.
The afternoon will be fairly informal, with time to explore, chat and enjoy the surroundings rather than follow a rigid itinerary.
If you're coming on your own, you'll be very welcome. I'll make sure everyone gets introduced, and it's always good to see a mixture of new and familiar faces.
Date: Sunday 1 November 2026
Time: 1 pm, leaving the café around 1:30 pm
Meeting point: artfix café, 7 Durnford Street, Greenwich, SE10 9BF
