This Meetup group is for those that want to discover London's wide range of wine bars, as well as wine tasting and other wine events.
This Meetup group has a strict "no show" policy - anyone who is marked as going, and does not turn up without notice, or subsequent apology, will be removed from the group.

This is a public event run by Balfour at Bow Wine Vaults, so there will be people there that are not part of the meetup.
The tasting is scheduled to finish at 8pm, so after that, we can either stay at Bow Wine Vaults, or we can head down to Cannon Street, where there are many wine bars.

The National Geographic Traveller Food Festival 2025 is a food festival with live demonstrations from some of the biggest names in food, as well as interviews with cookbook authors, tasting sessions and the chance to sample local specialities from some of the world’s most exciting culinary destinations.
There will be some famous faces there, including Yotam Ottolenghi, Jeremy Pang and Chetna Makan.They will have a Wine & Spirits Theatre with a carefully curated line-up of wine collectives and producers sharing insights into what makes their country's viticulture unique.

Be sure to choose the Saturday session.The Wine & Spirits theatre will probably require a separate add-on ticket (last year they were £5 per session), but these have not been released yet - I'll post a comment when they are released.
The festival opens at 10am, but we will meet at 12noon outside the entrance.
