This Meetup group is for those that want to discover London's wide range of wine bars, as well as wine tasting and other wine events.
To join the waitlist for any event, please use the "Join waitlist" button - commenting requesting to be on the waitlist does nothing on this group.
This Meetup group has a strict "no show" policy - anyone who is marked as going, and does not turn up without notice, or subsequent apology, will be removed from the group.

Pre-Spring Fling Wine Tasting

It's a walk-around tasting with 30+ wines, including a welcome glass of sparkling.

Pizza & Wine @ Three Colts Tavern
Three Colts Tavern, 199 Cambridge Heath Rd, London E2 0EL,, London, GBThree Colts Tavern is a great pub in Bethnal Green,
with amazing Pizza from their resident pizza kitchen: Short Road Pizza (kitchen closes at 9pm).They also have a good range of organic and natural wines, with 25% off bottles on Thursdays.
There will be a £22 charge on this meetup - this will cover* the cost of 6 bottles of wine for the night, between 8 of us.
Everyone will get a glass of white wine, a glass of orange, and a glass of red (approx 187ml per glass).
There is some leeway on the day to swap which wines we get, depending on people's preferences.
People can buy their own pizza, and any further wines - they have a good number of wines available by the glass.There are no refunds if you can no longer make the event. If you can no longer attend, you will need to sell your spot to someone on the waitlist - do not change your RSVP to "No", but instead place a comment on the event to sell your spot.
RSVPs will close at 5pm on 17th Feb, so that I can update the booking with accurate numbers.
* £21 will go towards the wines, everything else goes to paypal and meetup fees. The pub also charges for no shows on the booking, so this amount will cover that too.

Portugal – Taste a World of Difference Tasting
One Great George Street, 1 Great George St, London, SW1P 3AA, London, GBFor one night only, Wine Alive with Oz Clarke, Susy Atkins, and Luma Monteiro are hosting a Portuguese wine tasting.
Oz, Susy and Luma will be circulating among the guests at the tasting so that you can ask them questions about the wines, get recommendations, and discover more about Portuguese wines.
Many of the winemakers will be there in person so you can get the real stories behind the labels of more than 50 producers at this exciting walkaround tasting.There will be hundreds of Portuguese wines to taste.
