This Meetup group has a strict "no show" policy - anyone who is marked as going, and does not turn up without notice, or subsequent apology, will be removed from the group.

Vagabond St Paul's is a brand new Vagabond bar, in the old Paternoster Chop House (which was previously used for Channel4's First Dates programme).
Vagabond bars are always excellent - they have over 100 wines by the glass, using self-pour taps, as well as seasonal sharing plates.
Vagabond are opening up a couple of other new bars in the Autumn, so keep an eye out for future meetups there.

- WineAlive Big Christmas Wine FestivalLindley Hall, London
The annual WineAlive Big Christmas Wine Festival is happening again (was previously called Three Wine Men), with hosts Oz Clarke, Olly Smith and Tim Atkin MW.
The main tasting is a walk around tasting,Tickets are £42 for the main tasting, and it includes over 600 wines to taste. We will be going to the Saturday 5pm session.
There is also an optional Sparkling Wine Masterclass (£10) at 6:20pm, which is a 35 minute tutored tasting by Olly Smith, featuring 6 sparkling wines, from Champagne to English Sparkling to South Africa’s Cap Classique.
