The award-winning Winter Lights returns to Canary Wharf in January for the ninth year!

Canary Wharf will be transformed by over 12+ spectacular installations, leaving the dark winter evenings aglow. The spectacle will showcase light art and interactive installations by some of the most innovative global artists working in light art today.

Jose and Andrew will guide you around the lights, and we will have two models for you to shoot with the light installations.

Models

Ideal equipment
DSLR Camera or you can use a mobile phone if you want.
Tripod (optional for long exposure shots)
Lens - Wide-angle, portrait or zoom lens

Duration - 2 hours; you can stay on longer as the lights get turned off at 10 pm.

We will meet at 6.45 pm and start promptly at 7 pm; we will be walking to various locations around the area that are especially good for photography. Wrap up warm as it gets cold down by the water.

About Winter Lights
Winter Lights festival is the largest of its kind in London, transforming Canary Wharf with over 20 stunning installations, leaving the dark winter evenings aglow. The spectacle showcases light art and interactive installations by some of the most innovative light artists across the globe with some new commissions. It is free and runs from Tuesday, 21 January – Saturday, 1 February, 5 - 10pm.
