The Richmond Walk

A pleasant walk around the green and along the riverbank. A nod to George Eliot, cricket players and JMW Turner. The pub (TW9 2NQ) is next door to the Orange Tree theatre, just past Carluccio's on the corner with Clarence Street. That's 5 minutes from the station. Get there by District line or by overground from Waterloo (25 minutes). I'll talk about Richmond Old Palace where Elizabeth I died. Shakespeare's "As You Like It"
