Justice for Beau Protest in Staines
Details
By now I think most of us know what happened to Beau, the escaped calf, and that this incident happened in Staines https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cnkkp7eejyqo
Beau (like all farmed animals) deserves sanctuary, where she can live out her life in peace. The Retreat in Kent has offered this, although so far we hear the farmer has refused the offer, preferring to make money by exploiting Beau as a breeding cow.
The police also need to be held fully accountable for harming her, and be better trained to deal with situations involving animals.
So we will go (right after We Stand for the Animals vegan outreach in Staines) to do a short protest at the police station, then walk back to the town centre with signs promoting veganism and calling for Justice for Beau, as a symbol of all the animals exploited and killed by humans for selfish greed.
Here is the event page for the vegan outreach some of us will be at first (not my event but would love to get more support for this also)
