What we’re about

The London Badminton Group is a not-for-profit badminton set-up, originally founded in 2006 by Reaz Vawda, that originally aimed to provide training, practice and coaching opportunities to players of all standards, and chances for intermediate and advanced players to compete against one another. Charles Aitken took over the running of the club from 2007 and Raj in 2008 and weekly badminton sessions have continued in London.

I have taken over from Raj, and have continued the running of this club to ensure that all members get a good chance to play and improve their skills in this game. The sessions currently consist primarily of doubles and singles games depending on court availability and run every Sunday between 5 to and 8 pm.

Costs: The current fee structure is a fixed amount of £6 per person for each 3-hour session (£5 for concessions - under-18s and full-time students, and OAPs).

Skills level: Our club is suited for people of intermediate and advanced skills level.

So, if you are a keen badminton player, looking for a friendly club with a great facility for badminton, conveniently situated near a tube-station, then you should join this group and try us out!

Cheers

Paul and the London Badminton Group
