Join us for a lively London Foodies dinner at Khao Bird, a Northern Thai barbecue restaurant in the heart of Soho, serving bold, smoky, spicy dishes designed for sharing.

Khao Bird has quickly become one of London’s most talked-about Thai openings, with critics praising its punchy flavours, fun Soho setting and inventive take on Northern Thai and Burmese-influenced cooking. Time Out describes the vibe as “a rowdy crowd getting stuck into big BBQ flavours,” while Giles Coren in The Times called it “fiery, sexy and absolutely brilliant.”
Expect a sociable, flavour-packed evening with plenty of dishes to share across the table. Popular and much-praised dishes include:

• Mutton loaded fries — described by Time Out as a “non-negotiable order” and “a hero dish”
• Shan BBQ meatballs — cola-glazed, spicy and one of the standout dishes mentioned by several reviewers
• Khao soi with barbecued chicken thighs
• Prawns KJ / prawn khanon jeen
• Onglet steak with white curry
• Whole fried seabass, if available as a special
• Doughnut bao with ice cream to finish

Hot Dinners called Khao Bird a “fantastic new Soho gem” and said the food is “excellent throughout,” while Michelin highlights dishes such as the “moreish” prawns and khao soi with barbecued chicken thighs.
