October Gophers!
Details
Hi London Gophers! π
We're getting things set up and ready, but for now why not stick this date in your calendar and we'll see you there! RSVPs open 2 weeks before the events starts.
π£ Amy-Elizabeth Bond - Hands off the code!
A talk about transitioning from writing code full time, to moving to a hands off management position whilst keeping a passion for technology alive and working with others to succeed in engineering.
π£β‘Ryan Ju - Take Control of Your Code Generation
How we build our own code generation toolchain at Trinny London that makes API management easier without sacrificing flexibility
π£ Luke Stoward - OpenTelemetry with AWS
At YouView we've been experimenting with OpenTelemetry (OTel) and AWS X-Ray to visualise traces and metrics to help us better observe how our systems are behaving. This talk will introduce OTel, the OTel Collector and how we export data to AWS X-Ray.
====================
Introducing Priority Queue!
We now reserve 20% of the attendee spots at our events for those who are underrepresented in tech.
If they join the waitlist and there is a reserved spot open they will be bumped into going!
These reserved spots last until the week of the event.
====================
We monitor attendance and keep track of no-shows. Please if you can no longer make it to the event update your RSVP!
