Putting Together the Perfect Terminal Experience
I have been spending more and more of my time in the terminal. A few years ago I decided to make my terminal as productive as my IDE, with font ligatures, good colour support, system monitoring tools, syntax highlighting, auto-completion, good search and navigation capabilities, as well as the ability to organise groups of panes and windows and save them so that I can easily go back to what I was doing.
This talk is about how I managed to build a great terminal experience with zsh, oh-my-zsh, tmux, fzf, fd, ripgrep and bat, as well as how to achieve some eye-candy with powerlevel10k, Nerd Fonts and a fast / GPU accelerated Terminal Emulator. As I have different computers running Linux, macOS and Windows this talk will be OS agnostic and hopefully will inspire people to give some love to their terminal.
Confessions of a Sprint 0
How do we start sprinting effectively? For those of us practicing Scrum, there is great focus on the cycle of sprinting and continuous improvement. But I found knowing how to start a new team, or reset an existing one, to be far less well known.
Join me as I share my Confessions of a Sprint 0, and provide a tell all account of how Sprint 0 can help new and existing teams prepare for sprinting.
