About the event
Schools don't teach debugging because you can't easily test debugging skills. We're cast into the workforce with no knowledge and cursory acquaintance with the tools. ~25 years ago I was lucky. I was already an experienced developer, remarkably confident and sure of himself. Then I did a pair programming debugging session with a senior who exposed a brand new world to me. I was devastated by my ignorance in the art of debugging. This was an amazing gift that changed everything for me. In this session I hope to give you an equivalent gift.
Do you know what are marker objects? Watch renderers? Tracepoints? Breakpoint filters?
In this session we'll cover all of these and so much more.
