Intro: What if the thing holding you back at work isn't a skill gap — it's a fear you haven't named yet?
This is not a talk. This is a conversation — the kind that doesn't happen in offices, team meetings, or performance reviews. The kind where someone says the quiet thing out loud and half the room exhales because they feel it too.
We'll share stories. Real ones. About the conversation we keep putting off. The opportunity we talked ourselves out of. The moment we stayed quiet when we knew we shouldn't have. And we'll explore together why these moments have so much power over us — what's actually happening in the brain when we freeze before a difficult conversation, shrink before we speak up, or discount our own value before anyone else gets the chance to.
You don't need to come prepared. You don't need to come with answers. Just come willing to be honest in a room full of people who are ready to be honest back.
You'll leave with language for something you've been feeling but couldn't quite describe — and the strange relief of knowing you're not the only one.

A note before you join: This is a peer conversation, not a therapy session. We are not mental health professionals and nothing shared in this room is clinical advice, personal counsel, or a substitute for professional support. This is a space for honest stories and open discussion — which means you'll hear opinions, perspectives, and experiences that are personal to the people sharing them. You're welcome to take what resonates and leave the rest. If you are currently experiencing a mental health difficulty, we'd encourage you to reach out to a qualified professional who can give you the support you deserve.
