Creative Street Photography - Tips & Techniques - Southbank

Photography is a two dimensional art form which means your photos can look flat. This workshop has been designed to help you create a sense of depth and interest in your images using layers.

In this workshop we will look at techniques used to add multiple points of interest to your image, an effective way to elevate your image whilst also keeping the viewer engaged.

You'll be given a series of challenges and some tips to help build your confidence in street photography.

EXPERIENCE

• Beginners/Refreshers

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

• Camera settings
• Composition
• Add depth / layering
• Candid or posed and how to approach people
• Street photography tips

EQUIPMENT:

• Any camera
• And a standard 18-55 kit lens will do
• Optional 50mm if you have one
• Optional 70-200 for candid shots

OTHER ESSENTIALS

• A fun and experimental attitude!
