Seeing in Layers: Colour, Light, and Moments

This shoot in the style of workshop explores the work of amazing street photographer Alex Webb. We'll look at his use of colour, complex compositions, layered scenes, and moments of visual coincidence.
The central challenge is to move beyond simply photographing a subject and instead learn to photograph relationships between people, light, colour, space and chance.
These photographer based workshops are designed for 3 reasons:
- To help you learn to 'see' differently
- To improve your photography skills
- To improve your knowledge of photographers and the history of photography
We have a set of exercises to help you hone your eye.
EXPERIENCE
Any level is welcome
EQUIPMENT:
- Any camera
- A standard 18-55 kit lens will do or use a 70-200 for candid shots
OTHER ESSENTIALS
- A fun and experimental attitude!
