What we’re about

Active screenwriters who gather to read and critique each other's work, exchange advice, motivate each other and make lasting connections. Members are (reasonably) serious about their writing, open to constructive criticism and willing to provide insight to their fellow writers.

Who should join: screenwriters –budding and experienced– who want to develop their craft.

Why you should join: this is a great place to test your idea, see what's working and what isn't, get advice from other screenwriters and get motivated to advance.

What can you expect: a community of respectful and serious screenwriters who support one another through the tough-love of constructive criticism, who share their knowledge, advice, and experience, and who encourage each other.

Our activities: We organise fortnightly Screenplay Critique events to give feedback on the work of the members, occasional social/networking events to meet and have a chat with other screenwriters, and we're always working on potentially exciting new events - help us out by suggesting your own.

What is expected of you: Members are expected to read the submissions before attending Screenplay Critique and prepare some constructive feedback for the author. Members are expected to show respect for their fellow members, as well as our authors' work.

Where do we meet: Our regular venues are in central London, in Covent Garden, Bank/Monument and sometimes Brick Lane and the Angel.

To submit a script: send a PDF to [londonscreenwriters@gmail.com](mailto:londonscreenwriters@gmail.com).

Join our Facebook group: We only accept people from our meet up group and use it as a way to stay in touch and share film news and related media as well as organise get-togethers outside of critiques. Please come along to a meet up and talk to an admin!
