Details

For January's long run we will be exploring part a route from Bromley to Clapham via various parks which form include some segments of the Capital Ring. The full route will be approximately 21km along mainly paved or gravel paths with occasional dirt tracks. There may be some muddy sections following rain and there is some elevation gain amounting to around 230m. Please bring appropriate footwear - trail shoes preferred.

We will meet at Victoria at 9am to catch the 09.14 train to Bromley South arriving at 09.49 - alternatively you can make your own way to Bromley South station for 09:49 in time for a prompt start at 10:00 am.

We will all run as a group together as a group adjusting the pace to suit between 5.30 and 6 min/km with the option to pick up a those wanting a shorter group run at approx 11.15 +- 15 minutes from Crystal Palace.

After the run we shall go for a Sunday lunch at the Windmill on Clapham Common for a well deserved refuel!

Please make sure you are comfortable with the distance and terrain as described above. We would recommend you try our shorter runs on Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings, especially if you are relatively new to running. There will be no bag drop, so please bring everything you need in a small backpack including water and snacks.
