The London Ontario Drupal Users Group (also known as LonDUG) meets the third Thursday of every month over the lunch hour. We do not meet the months of December, July and August. Whether you're new to Drupal or a seasoned Drupaler, you are welcome to join us at our events.
We alternate between presentations, discussions, sprints and/or drop-in sessions.
For presentations, topics vary widely: development, theming, site building, case studies, and more. If you're interested in speaking at a future LonDUG event please get in touch.
*After many years of service Scott Reeves is stepping down as lead organizer of LonDUG as of October 2018. We would like to thank Scott for keeping the group going for all these years. He will continue to attend LonDUG events, and provide his expertise and opinions to the group as a member.
Bring your laptops and settle in! LonDUG is back after breaking for the summer months.
At this event, Tech Lead / Web Developer Jordan Thompson will walk us through the current best practice recommendations for contributing bug fixes or change/feature requests, in the form of a patch file, to projects.
Patches are used to maintain control-ability over the entire Drupal project through the global Drupal.org. Yes, you can help make Drupal even better by finding issues to work on and creating and submitting patches.
People at any level of Drupal experience are welcome to attend this event, from beginners to intermediate to experts. You do not need to be expert to submit a patch or even have written a line of code in your life.
