The custom Drupal module developed as part of the project has been released to the Islandora community ( since it includes functionality that should allow any Islandora assets with geographic data to be plotted on a map.

What to expect: Junior developer and content editors will gain an understanding of what is possible with limited access and a restricted toolset. Intermediate developers will see code samples to help them achieve more than what is possible by configuration alone.

The meeting is taking place in the 2nd-floor development area at Digital Echidna office, now located at 148 York Street. There is a secure entrance, so enter at main street level and go to the 2nd-floor reception door to ring the doorbell. You will be asked to sign in.

If you are driving, there is an Impark parking lot directly across from Digital Echidna headquarters.

Lunch will be provided to pre-registered attendees, or bring your own lunch.
