Welcome to the Barefoot Beach Running Club! Beginners and beach power walkers welcome!!
We believe beach jogging on the wet sand by the water is incredibly grounding and wonderful for your body, mind and SOUL.
We are a vibrant, fun-loving small group of nature lovers, and adventurous souls who have a shared passion for the feel of sand between our toes.
As you may have guessed, we're not your typical running group. We believe that running barefoot along the beach not only boosts our health and agility but also rekindles our connection with nature, refreshing our mind and spirit. This group is all about taking in the sea breeze, soaking up the sun, and reveling in the liberating sensation of the sand and surf beneath our feet.
Our members range from barefoot running beginners to experienced athletes, and we warmly welcome all levels of experience. Whether you're looking to improve your running form, build strength, increase stamina, or just enjoy a barefoot romp on the beach, the beach is always there!!
Meetups include leisurely beach jogs, sunset runs and even some friendly races. We also host special events like full moon night runs, coastal path treks, and clean-up runs where we help to keep our beautiful beaches clean.

NOTE: Please leave all your stuff in the car so you don't have to carry it. I walk from my car in a cheap pair of dollar store flip flops and just leave them on the sand- they are always waiting for me when I get back!
*Because we start the run after 6PM we are more than likely able to avoid paying to get on Long Beach as the lifeguards leave at 6PM.
