Returning to Alder & Sage!

Let’s return to a time honored favorite, the offspring of the beloved Portfolio Coffeehouse: Alder & Sage!

Logistically, I believe Fridays are a good day to go to A&S, because local street sweeping occurs M, W and Th.

In case it gets too hot, we can always retreat to the air conditioned interior. Otherwise we’ll meet on the back patio. I see Meetup is now offering this “event chat.” I haven’t tried it yet, but I think you will be able to check for updates there.

Dogs are usually welcome on the patio, BUT some members may not be comfortable; and if we retreat inside they can’t join us. PLEASE CHECK before you bring your dog. Only calm, bite free dogs can join us in our Meetup.

A&S has great coffee & tea, great pastries, and a variety of breakfast and lunch fare. Located on Retro Row, there are many cute shops, thrift shops and restaurants around.

PARKING:
Paid parking on 4th Street or in the lot adjacent to the coffeehouse.
Free parking on Cherry or the local neighborhoods. Double check to make sure there’s no street sweeping; but I’m pretty sure it’s MWTh.

DON’T SKIP THIS HOUSEKEEPING:
If you RSVP and don’t cancel or show up, YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP with no possibility of rejoining. I hate to be such a meanie, but we’ve been burned too many times. This can impact our group’s welcome because we’re holding seats that no one ever shows up for.

Also, THIS IS NOT A DRINKING EVENT. Members ordering/consuming alcohol will be asked to leave and may be permanently removed from the group. There are plenty of other drinking Meetups available; this is not one of them!
