Let’s SURF Lincoln at LONG BEACH this SATURDAY!!!

Calling all Children of the Tides!!! Looks like we are going to have some fun waves this Saturday; if you would like to join us, please meet me on the boardwalk in front of Shakes & Shuckers, at 1 Lincoln Blvd, Long Beach, NY 11561 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022. I will be wearing a beige surfing cap with a black rash guard shirt and black lycra pants.

I will wait for everyone who has RSVP’d for about 15 minutes and then we will head to the Ocean to surf on Lincoln Blvd. If you need to come a little later, you can find me on the beach, close to the left jetty by the Lincoln Blvd ramp entrance to the sand; I will have a green tiki umbrella and a big blanket with a turtle in the middle like my picture above. I will also send you my contact info when you rsvp.

If you are commuting by train, you can take the LIRR from Penn Station directly to Long Beach. During the summer the entrance fee to the beach for nonresidents cost $15; you can download the app to purchase your pass by clicking the below link: https://longbeach.yodelpass.com/Passes/pass.aspx#/

You can also rent a surfboard at Unsound Surf shop, but always make sure you call them the day of for availability, their website is: https://www.unsoundsurf.com/
